3. PURPOSE OF THE WEBSITE
The Kanvss website provides general information about:
• Kanvss;
• buyer-informed strategic advisory;
• business readiness, resilience, and transferability;
• the Future Buyer Readiness Check;
• Kanvss services and areas of work; and
• ways to contact Kanvss.
The website is intended primarily for business owners, directors, managers,
advisers, and other business professionals.
Website content is provided for general information and introductory purposes
only.
4. NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE
The information provided on the website does not constitute:
• legal advice;
• accounting advice;
• tax advice;
• financial advice;
• investment advice;
• regulated business valuation advice; or
• any other regulated professional advice.
Website content should not be relied upon as the sole basis for making an
important business, financial, legal, tax, investment, succession, acquisition,
or sale decision.
Business circumstances differ, and general information may not be suitable for
a particular situation.
Where appropriate, you should obtain advice from a suitably qualified
professional.
5. FUTURE BUYER READINESS CHECK
The Future Buyer Readiness Check is an introductory reflection tool.
It is designed to help business owners consider how a future buyer might view
aspects of their business.
The Check is not:
• a business valuation;
• a formal appraisal;
• an audit;
• a due-diligence exercise;
• an indication that a business is ready for sale;
• a prediction of saleability or transaction value; or
• legal, accounting, tax, financial, investment, or other regulated advice.
The score is generated using pre-set rules based on the answers selected.
A score provides a broad indication for reflection. It is not a comprehensive
assessment of the business and should not be interpreted as a guarantee,
certification, recommendation, or professional opinion.
Kanvss does not guarantee that:
• the score reflects every relevant feature of the business;
• a buyer, investor, lender, adviser, or valuer would reach the same view;
• completing the Check will improve business performance or value; or
• any particular commercial or transaction outcome will result.
Any subsequent conversation with Kanvss is exploratory unless and until a
separate advisory engagement is agreed.
6. NO CLIENT RELATIONSHIP CREATED
Using the website, completing the Future Buyer Readiness Check, submitting an
enquiry, or receiving an informal response does not by itself create:
• a client relationship;
• an advisory engagement;
• a fiduciary relationship;
• a partnership;
• an agency relationship; or
• a contractual obligation to provide services.
A formal Kanvss engagement begins only when the scope, terms, and fees have
been agreed separately.
7. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
Kanvss takes reasonable care when preparing website content.
However:
• information may be generalised;
• business, legal, technological, and commercial conditions may change;
• content may become incomplete or out of date;
• errors or omissions may occur; and
• website content may not address your particular circumstances.
Kanvss does not promise that all website information will always be complete,
current, accurate, or suitable for every purpose.
Kanvss may update, correct, replace, or remove website content at any time.
8. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
You remain responsible for:
• deciding whether website information is relevant to you;
• checking information before relying upon it;

through the website or Future Buyer Readiness Check.

suppliers, or other people unless it is necessary, appropriate, and lawful to

unenforceable, that provision will be treated as modified or removed only to
the extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

If Kanvss does not immediately enforce a provision of these terms, that does
not mean Kanvss has waived the right to enforce it later.
25. THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS
Unless expressly stated, these Terms of Use do not give any third party a right
to enforce them.
26. GOVERNING LAW
